On 24 February, UNFPA Algeria produced three radio advertisements in Arabic, Tamazight and French languages with one key message ‘stop verbal harassment’ against women. Women experience this type of violence on a daily basis. The three spots aimed to raise awareness and end violence against women as part of the joint project between UNFPA Algeria and the Canadian Embassy in Algeria titled ‘Roles and responsibilities of women and men in Algeria and challenges for gender equality’.
